Mixed Fibre Bilum by Iya Castan

This acrylic and recycled fibre bilum was made by Iya Castan who weaves with Jaukaue Bilum Products cooperative, based in Goroka in the Highlands of Papua New Guinea. The weavers have been experimenting with recycled fibre, and incorporating it into their designs as seen here with the metallic blue. This is a 2 needle design.
